April 25th, 7:30 p.m.Meeting about the National Youth Gathering Trip for youth, adult leaders, and parents!  We will go over the group Covenants and medical release forms which need to be signed.  We will also discuss a packing list and answer any questions you may have about the trip.  Meet in the church basement.

Vacation Bible School is June 4-8th. Open to those going into Kindergarten – 5th grade. Registration sheets are available at the back of the church. Space is limited, so sign up soon! Please see Jen with questions.

Zion is sponsoring the Wednesday, May 2, 2:30 p.m. bingo games at the Palisades nursing home. We need approximately two additional volunteers to help with the game. Weekly bulletin mailing. If you know of someone who would like to receive our worship bulletin by mail on a weekly basis, please email the church office and we will put them on our weekly mailing list.

“Son” Shine Box. Please look for the "Son Shine Box" in the Narthex and fill out a card for anyone you think could use a Sunshine Card. Sunshine cards can be sent for any reason, such as illness, death in family, retirement, anniversary, birth of new baby, etc. Thank you, Mission and Fellowship Board.

Please Note: If there is inclement weather, a determination will be made by the Learning Board by 7 pm on Saturday evening if Sunday School will be held the following morning. Please check the Keloland Closeline and a Zion Blast will be sent.

Zion’s weekly Sunday service is broadcast on the Community Access channel at Alliance Communication on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm.

WEDDINGS: Please schedule at least four months in advance to allow time for pre-marriage sessions.

BAPTISMS: May be scheduled for the 5:30 p.m. Saturday Service or Sunday at either service. Please schedule a minimum of one month in advance.

If someone needs a bible, feel free to take one from the back of the church.

Cracked Not Broken The Kevin Hines Story. The Helpline Center, in partnership with Augustana University and the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, is honored to welcome Kevin on Thursday, May 10th, 6:30 p.m, Mikkelson Auditorium, Froiland Science Complex, Augustana University. Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life. Kevin is a mental health advocate, who reaches audiences all over the world with his story of an unlikely survival and his strong will to live. Kevin will also be speaking in Rapid City as part of the 7th Annual Mental Health Awareness Day, May 17th.

Families Helping Families in Crisis: Safe Families for Children™ (SFFC) is a national movement of compassion that gives hope to families in crisis. This network of volunteer host families, through Bethany and local churches, help parents who need temporary care for their children as they work through unmanageable or critical circumstances. Safe Families for Children is an alternative to foster care. The goal of the SFFC ministry is to offer support in a time of need and reunite children with their families in a stronger home environment. Outlaw Ranch 60th Anniversary Celebration A weekend of celebrating 60 years of ministry!July 6-8, 2018. Please join us for this celebratory weekend. Stories will be shared and songs will be sung. Many people, many experiences, many years make up the ministry at Outlaw Ranch, we hope you can bring your memories to make this weekend complete and launch us into another 60 (or more) years of welcoming all to camp!

Green Project at Cedro Galan Invitation.
