PLEASE PRAY FOR: Jean McPadden, Jana Julson, Derek Dillon, Gloria Johnson Plut, Cherie Ellis, Kip Julson, Stan Hanson, Dawson Sanders, Krista Leedy.

The We CAN project for September is Necessities for Neighbors which has two distributions per month in Sioux Falls. This ministry is called Necessities for Neighbors because the items given away cannot be purchased using the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) cards. The items are: diapers, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products. Included in the diapers are adult diapers as well. We are collecting for the October 15 distribution at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. We will be collecting toilet paper and financial donations. Necessities has found vendors where they can purchase products at a cost below what we can at stores, so the financial donations will help purchase the other products. Our goal is 300 rolls of toilet paper and $500 cash. If you have any questions, please contact Dan Paulson at 594-3165.

Weekly bulletin mailing. If you know of someone who would like to receive our worship bulletin by mail on a weekly basis, please email the church office and we will put them on our weekly mailing list.

“Son” Shine Box. Please look for the "Son Shine Box" in the Narthex and fill out a card for anyone you think could use a Sunshine Card. Sunshine cards can be sent for any reason, such as illness, death in family, retirement, anniversary, birth of new baby, etc. Thank you, Mission and Fellowship Board.

If your address, email or phone number changes please let the church office know! Thank you.

Please Note: If there is inclement weather, a determination will be made by the Learning Board by 7 pm on Saturday evening if Sunday School will be held the following morning. Please check the Keloland Closeline and a Zion Blast will be sent.
