EASTER PLANTS: The remaining plants from our Easter Memorial Garden have run their course. They are now sitting in the large window of the downstairs kitchen. If you would like to take a plant to give them another chance at life, you are welcome to take what you want. They will be thrown away next week.

Money for Summer Bible Camp –  If you are a person from Zion who loves summer Bible Camps and would like to see youth benefitting from the opportunity to attend, please consider giving a donation for our Bible Camp Fund. We have had lots of campers the past years, and have had several generous givers, but our funds are a dwindling again and we could use your support. If you are so inclined, please consider giving a gift of $25, $50 or $100 to a camper. Most Lutheran Bible Camps we support cost $400-$500 for a week of camp so your donation really helps families to be able to allow their children to attend! It is a great Faith Week for our young people.  See Jen if you have questions or to make a donation.  THANK YOU!   If you are a family who is looking to sign up still for camp, April 15th is the early bird deadline for all Lutheran Outdoors camps, and the Shetek Deadline for Early Bird cost was April 1st.  Please let Jen know the dates your child will attend.

WE CAN MAY. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” That is the message that Jesus gave us in Matthew 28:19. That is also what Simba is about. Simba’s mission is to further the Kingdom of God so that each person can share in the intimacy of Jesus Christ. This Christ centered ministry is one way that WE can become involved in the mission without leaving Garretson! Our financial support is needed to help make this ministry grow. Teaching God’s word, helping orphans attend school, providing a secure place for women and girls from trafficking, helping people help themselves by building schools, homes, business to advance people from poverty and give them the hope of the Lord. If all our 150 active families gave $10 to this ministry, we could deliver a check for $1,500 in support of Simba Educational Ministries. WE CAN help, please consider a financial donation to Simba!

Thrivent matching for Flood and Tornado victums. Donate online; Thrivent will boost it. Let’s band together to raise $750,000. For every $2 you donate through Thrivent.com, Thrivent will add $1.  Thrivent will also pay all processing fees so 100 percent of your donation will go directly to support victims in need.
