Each box costs approximately $9 to ship! Thank you for helping with our special mission project for the fall!

The Senior Choir is looking for new members! If you enjoy singing, please consider joining the Senior Choir!  We are a FUN group that meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the balcony and sings at various services throughout the year.  Our choir consists of members ranging from High School age to Senior Citizens.  All abilities are welcome!  Join us in making a beautiful noise as we worship God!  If you have any questions, see Kristin Houg or any choir member, otherwise, join us on Wednesday night!

The Senior Choir is updating their music and would appreciate monetary donations.  Donations can be placed in the offering plate with a note on the memo line stating "Senior Choir music".  THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THIS MINISTRY!

The PraZe band is looking for a percussionist, guitarist and song leaders!  Please see Beth Plahn if you are interested in helping with this ministry!

Zion Web Page. Are you interested in building a website?  We are looking for volunteers to help create a new website for our church. We need someone that can work with a company online to construct a new website. It would involve meeting with the different Church Committees and Council to get their input on what they would like our website to contain and then working with a company like ShareFaith to create the website. This project will take many hours over a several-month period. If you are interested, please contact Dan Paulson at 605-594-3165 or email him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You may sign up for photography at the signup table before or after church or online at our church website at www.ziongarretson.org.or by calling the church office during regular business hours. Everyone will receive a $10 coupon to be used towards your Lifetouch photography order. In addition, if you bring a donation of school supplies to your photography sessions, you will receive an additional $5 off your Lifetouch photography order. We are also looking for volunteers to help out during photography by greeting families during photography, filling out a photography form, and checking current address information. If you are interested, there is a signup sheet in the narthex. If you are not available to have your photo taken, you may submit a photograph to be used for the directory. Photos must be a horizontal image and be at least 250 dpi. Photos must be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it no later than Monday, October 29. If you are submitting a professional photograph, a written authorization from the copyright holder must be obtained. Please contact Karla Paulson (594-3165) for a Publication Authorization form if you plan to submit a professional photograph.
